Fees & Referral Information
You do not require a Doctor’s referral to make an appointment. Private health insurance and Medicare rebates are applicable to eligible children. Sydney Speech & Language Centre is also registered to provide services through the NDIS.
Your child may be eligible to access a Medicare rebate for the fees incurred if they are part of a GP Management Plan. This needs to be requested and organised through your child’s GP.
You may be able to claim a part rebate for services through your private health fund. It is recommended that you contact your fund to confirm your child’s level of cover. HICAPS is available for clients who have private health insurance, enabling you to pay the gap only for services received.
